Our high-level process is: Intention - Design - Execute. As you work through the process, you get results. One of the biggest benefits to this work is that you learn a new approach to issues. You will employ new strategies, use language more effectively. Through the process, our goal is to help you do it yourself.
There are certain things in life that you can do yourself and others for which you really should seek expert advice. How important is your career to you?
Intention
What is it that you want? Everything begins with setting your intention. It drives your direction and goals. Your intention incorporates everything important to you: your values, interests, abilities and competencies. We take pride in clearly explaining and navigating the often foggy landscape of career progression. We help our clients draft resume and marketing materials and negotiate salary but first and foremost, we help you recognize your direction.
design
The way forward is not in our control, so a strong planning methodology helps our clients keep moving in a world that is constantly in flux. Our clients create a life that enhances satisfaction. Together we clarify your goals and break them into achievable tasks that make a difference. We help you identify and soften fear, doubt, worry or guilt that interfere with the changes you wish to make. You identify patterns or ways of thinking that get in the way of achieving your goals. Finally, you develop new skills and develop new perspectives that support your life and career objectives.
Execute
In this phase, you bring your design to life. As your design is a new process, this phase happens in two parts. In the first part, you take the actions to create the outcomes that you targeted in the design phase. In the second part, you meet with your coach to debrief what you did and the corresponding results. In doing this, you have the chance to reflect on what you did, recognize anything that you learned about yourself and further deepen the new actions you are taking. The reflection feeds back to redesign actions in order to elicit desired outcomes.
